MICHAEL BAKER,
Partner & Client Services Manager
I’ve always believed the most valuable things in life are relationships. The ones we build, invest in, and make last. That’s been true in my personal life, and it’s shaped the way I’ve built my career.
I got my start in software sales with IBM and finished at the top of my class in their Global Sales School. It taught me a lot about how to connect with people and understand their needs. That’s what pulled me towards real estate next, where I ran sales and marketing for new home communities across Colorado Springs. I loved that world: fast-paced, people-driven, always something new. But the day I got the chance to join Wyson Financial, I knew it was the right move. This is where I was supposed to land.
Here’s what I do: I make sure you get an experience most people don’t expect from a financial firm, the kind of hospitality and attention to detail where nothing feels generic and everything feels like it was built around you. I make sure you get matched with the right person on our team, someone whose planning style and investment approach fits what you want out of retirement. I also oversee our marketing and community outreach, which gives me the chance to build those relationships long before someone ever becomes a client. You’re not a number here. When you walk through our doors, you should feel like people are genuinely in your corner, because we are.
Outside the office, I’m the husband to my beautiful wife, Tracie, and dad to our three wonderful kids who keep me on my toes. You’ll usually find us golfing, traveling, hiking, or outside doing something together. When I’m not with them, I’m probably playing pickup basketball, softball, out Jeeping, or tinkering with performance cars. Business or personal, I’m all about growth, adventure, and the people who matter most.
